The unstoppable productions of producer Winston 'Techniques' Riley span five decades and are as vital today as they ever have been. Maximum Pressure's fourth release focuses on the late eighties to early nineties output from the Techniques label. We have collected a cross section of the super rare and the most sought after of Winston Riley's output from this period which caused true dancehall mayhem on their original release.

The album kicks off with the brilliant 'Bad Boys' by Courtney Melody who recently re-cut the track with Rodney P/Shy FX and introduced it to a whole new generation of young fans. It has now become an underground classic for the second time but the original is here on CD for the very first time. Gregory Isaacs' duet with Tiger on 'Hic Up' is a nice blend of the old and the new and 'Ring the Alarm Quick' is possibly the most popular version of the famous 'Stalag' Rhythm.

Some of the biggest names in reggae recorded for Winston Riley and here we present eighteen tracks of outstanding quality as well as some super rare 'dub plate style' intros. These were dropped in Kingston sound clashes and this is the first time they will have been heard outside of the Kingston dancehall circuit.

To complement the music we have a beautifully put together CD and double vinyl, lovingly re-mastered and packaged. This release is a killer and possibly our strongest re-issue on the Maximum Pressure label to date.
